Position:  Contracts Administrator   

RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedures. Review solicitations and assists in the preparation of responses for proposals, bids and modifications. Responsible for providing formal correspondence to customer representatives and contractual guidance to program team members ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Assist in developing negotiation plans and strategies to achieve company objectives. Administer assigned contracts through close out and coordinate with program management teams and customers to identify and resolve issues and/or disputes that could impact the fulfillment of contractual obligations. May assist in new business pursuits.

 SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong analytical, verbal and written communications skills. Good presentation, leadership and team-building skills. Detail-oriented with an understanding of the importance in documenting contract related activities. Ability to draft basic contractual instruments and working knowledge of contracting concepts and formation. Working knowledge of basic contract law principles to include public acquisition laws and regulations.

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree and 2-5 years related experience. Minimum of 3 years experience in public acquisitions such as Federal or State prime contracts and/or subcontracts and a CPAM is a plus.
